Wunk Sheek Pow-Wow

Last weekend we went to the Wunk Sheek Pow- Wow. We saw lots of great traditional

clothing and dances, listened to drum-songs and ate a wonderful feast of Buffalo stew, Walleye, wild rice, acorn squash and fry bread with a good ole Pepsi! I was impressed that Bridger tried it all, except the rice, and he really liked the Walleye fish. Carter loved the squash and loved dancing to the beat of the drums. We had a fun time with friends and hope to go again next year. Here are some of our pictures.

This is a dance where the couples had a potato in between the foreheads as they danced. As soon as the potato fell, you were out of the competition. It was really fun to watch.

I liked his attire, Bridger was scared of him, and actually

scared of everyone that was dressed up.
