Eden's Baby Blessing

While we were in Utah for my Dad's birthday celebration, we blessed Eden. Yes, yes, she was only three weeks at the time and we broke our own rule about not taking a newborn to church or large family gatherings. But we wanted our family there for this special occasion and wanted to spare everyone the drive to Boise took and took advantage of people being gathered together. It was great to see everyone and appreciate their support in coming. It was a beautiful day to bless our Sweet Baby Eden. She is so blessed to have a father who holds the preisthood along with many uncles and her grandpas that stood in the circle to give her a blessing. I hope we can help her remember how loved she is and the great heritage she comes from on both sides of the family.

Carter and Eden

This is as good as it gets when you have four kids to bribe to sit for a picture

I love this picture of Afton and Eden, it reminds me of the picture when Carter was blessed and Bridger was holding him.

Eden and her big brothers- what a lucky girl

We borrowed cousin Sophie's blessing dress. It is so beautiful and we had to take a quick picture before giving back on our way home.
Look at all these people! This is why we blessed her here.
Thank you for coming and being with us!

Hooray! I got a picture with my baby on her blessing day.

Afterwards we went to a park and enjoyed a beautiful Sunday morning and had bagels, muffins, juice and yummy chocolate cupcakes.

Carter loves to snuggle Eden and does it whenever or wherever he has the chance

I love this pretty little girl.
Everyone tells her how super cute she is and she knows it's true.

I love these crazy pig tails

Our weekend trip to Utah was a whirlwind- as it always seems to be. The kids handled driving really well this time so the six hours went by fast. We wished we could have spent more time with our family but enjoyed the short visit that we had.
