Bridger Turns Five and a Half

It's hard to believe that Bridger is all ready FIVE and a half years old and that he will be starting kindergarten in the fall.
His recent accomplishments include: tying his own shoes, being able to read by himself, swim on his own for 20 feet, do a handstand underwater, and knee board behind a slow boat.
He continues to enjoy art projects and is very creative in what he makes with wood, paper, markers, tape, glue and anything else he can find. He loves to work (this I am very thankful for)  and will often go the extra mile and finish Carter's job or help Mom and Dad with their chores.  He has a cheerful attitude and will say, "Mom, what do you need me to do? I'll do it! Just tell me whatever you need done, and I'll get it done!" He has on more than one occasion woke up, got dressed and said, "Mom! we got to go and do some yard work!" He likes to help in the garden  and can unload the dishwasher in under 5 minutes with all dishes organized by color and size and in their exact proper place. Bridger loves to sing and performed  with Mom  in Sacrament meeting at church. His favorite show right now is Phineus and Ferb, his favorite food is any type of fruit, his favorite sport is soccer, hockey and bike riding. We love Bridger and his cheerful personality. I am amazed at what a smart, not-so-little boy he is turning into.

We went to a sprinkler park with a bunch of his friends and  had cupcakes.
He told me he wanted just three things for his birthday. I love having a kid who is easy to please.

Peach gummies

A water gun

He wanted his own small cake like Sissy had at her birthday.

We've been seeing alot of this cheesy grin lately.
It warms my heart every time.

And a new pair of cowboy boots.
