I taught preschool this month and we are learning about cowboys, dunes and deserts. For our snack time, I filled eggs with snacks and hid them in the yard. The kids had an egg round-up and brought the eggs to the coral (blanket) for a snack. They had lots of fun and it was good practise for the real egg hunt ahead.

Easter prizes: books, bat and ball, golf club set, tricycle, flashcards, new sand buckets, candy etc.

A grocery store nearby had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday for the kids at a bright and early time of 7:30 a.m. For those of us who by this time had all ready opened Easter prizes, had breakfast and done our first fives, this was no problem. Bridger and Carter loved the chocolate eggs.
Bridger found 2nd place and won what he calls
his "tickly ball."

Easter morning before General Conference, we had a hunt with our next door neighbors. They don't celebrate Easter, but Eliza caught on quickly and collected the most eggs, and promptly ate or "gobbled down" as Bridger said, most of her candy.
these pictures describe his hunt at home:

This Easter, we are especially grateful for the time that we have to spend as a family together. We are also thankful for the knowledge that we have of our Savior, Jesus Christ, in His atonement and resurrection. We know that He lives and because of what He has done for us, we will live again after death and be together as a family forever. What a reason to celebrate!
